Analytics
Visits are counted with Umami, which runs on our own server, not a third party's. It sets no cookies, so there is no cookie banner, and it is used only to see which pages get read. No other analytics, tracking or advertising script is loaded on any page.
Google Search Console shows us which searches lead to the site. It works from Google's own search data; nothing from Google is loaded on these pages.
Product links
A product link goes through our own redirect (an address with /go/ in it), which adds one to a count for that site, page and product, then sends you on. It keeps no IP address and sets no cookie.
Once you are on the product's site, its own privacy policy applies, and its affiliate program may set its own cookies there so the sale is credited to Sturdy Office. Nothing from a retailer is loaded on our pages before you click.
Email list
The signup form sends your address to our own server, not a mailing-list company. We keep four things: the address, this site's name, the page you signed up on and the date. No IP address, no cookie, nothing else. The address is used only for this site's email list, and is never sold or shared.
We don't send any email yet, not even a confirmation. Before the first one goes out, this page will say which service sends it, and every email will have a link to leave the list. To be taken off now, write to[email protected].
Delivery and server logs
Pages are delivered through Cloudflare, which handles each request to keep the site fast and protected. The web server keeps ordinary access logs (address, page, time, browser) to keep the site running. They are not analysed and not shared.
